Who I am

This website belongs to Brian Foley, a REALTOR® with Coastal Life Realty Group, 7408 Coastal Highway, Ocean City, MD 21842. I'm licensed in Maryland (license 664978) and Delaware (license RS-0025171). When this policy says "I" or "me," it means Brian Foley.

What I collect

I only collect what you choose to share with me:

• Contact details you enter in a form on this site: your name, mobile number and email address.
• Details about your sale or search: a property address, your timeframe, price range, the areas you're interested in, what kind of purchase it is, whether you're pre-approved, and any notes you add.
• Your phone number and messages, if you call or text me.

Like most websites, the company that hosts this site may automatically log basic technical information, such as your browser type and IP address, to keep the site secure and running.

How I use it

• To reply to you personally and answer your questions.
• To prepare for a seller consultation or set up a property search that fits what you're looking for.
• To send you properties or market information you've asked for.
• Now and then, I send a seasonal update about the local market and coastal life. Every one includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
• With your permission, I set up a property search for you in Bright MLS, the regional listing service. Bright MLS then sends automatic email alerts when new listings match your criteria, or when a property you're following goes under contract or sells. I design each search myself around your goals.

Who I share it with

I never sell or rent your information. I share it only when it's needed to help you, or when the law requires it:

• With my brokerage, Coastal Life Realty Group, as part of handling your transaction.
• With a lender, title company, inspector or other professional, when you ask me to connect you or when your transaction requires it.
• With Bright MLS, to set up and send the listing alerts you've requested.
• With the services that run this website and deliver form submissions to my inbox. They handle your information only to provide that service.
• When required by law, regulation or a valid legal request.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising cookies, and I don't sell or share your browsing activity with advertisers. If I add a simple visitor-count tool in the future, I'll update this policy.

Your choices

You can ask me at any time to show you what information I have about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask me to stop contacting you. You can also stop listing alerts at any time using the unsubscribe link in any alert email, or just let me know and I'll turn them off. Just reach out using the contact details below. Some records may need to be kept for a period of time because real estate laws and my brokerage require it.

Keeping it safe

I take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with me. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive financial details, such as account numbers, through the forms on this site.

Children

This site is meant for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If I change how I handle your information, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
